Just watched it, very good documentary.
I would suggest others watch it.
EU and US share some similarities it appears. Both have problem with lobbyist. One thing I didn't know was that the EU parliament can't bring up bills. That sound like absolute horse shit.
I think everyone can agree that lobbyists and corrupt politicians suck.
But he ends with the question "Do you want decisions in your life to be taken by politicians?" as though politicians are by definition a bad thing. I suppose direct democracies like Switzerland might agree with that sentiment, but I don't see that as an absolute truth.
I don't think any significant contingent in the US is fighting against our system of congress - just the lobbyists who corrupt it.
