Crow Sculpture *wip* - General

So University Sculpture class, and we had to make a crow out of cardboard to display the flat quality of the cardboard. It didnt need to look like a bird, only bird-like. So i wanted to make this bird so that it was only visible if you looked at it from the side. From the top it loosk like nothing. I'm assuming the project didn't demand the utmost craftsmanship- from what you said, you got it pretty spot on to what you intended. Only thing I dislike is how the wings end on the sides, the flatness just looks weird.

The first picture from above looks like something for an album cover - I'm liking the look of it so far by the way. I saw somebody had done something similar that was on display in my art classroom, but the difference was that the guy had stacked loads of cardboard pieces on top of each other and then carved a sculpture out of the cardboard "cube".

Great idea and execution, but looks more like a seagull than a crow.

Cool stuff, good to see someone doing something different.

To be honest it's wing and beak (mostly the beak) looks like that of a seagull
