John Kasich (R) will meet for a town hall debate on CNN next week, the network announced Wednesday. In addition, the network will host House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for a town hall event. Sanders and Kasich both ran for president last year, lasting deep into their respective primaries before bowing out. Sanders has emerged this year as an anti-President Trump firebrand in Washington and key player in Democratic campaigns. And Kasich has offered regular criticism of Trump, a fellow Republican. "Less than two weeks after House Republicans narrowly passed a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare, and with tax reform a top priority for President Trump, Pelosi and then Sanders and Kasich will discuss and debate these and other issues before live studio audiences,” CNN said in a press release. The Sanders-Kasich debate will take place May 16 and be hosted by CNN anchor Jake Tapper and chief political correspondent Dana Bash. That steel chair ain't getting rest anytime soon it seems like. What a guy.
He practically is Americas unofficial opposition leader

hell yes, kasich will have to recon with the contradictions and hypocrisy inherant to conservatism
Already campaigning for the new presidential election next month I see.
In Government: Goldman Sachs (R,D) In Opposition: Bernie Sanders (I) and the american people
fix
I really want to see this. Sanders was my pick during the primaries, and had the election come down to Kasich and Clinton I honestly might have chose Kasich.
In Government: Goldman Sachs (R,D) In Opposition: Bernie Sanders (I)
Where is George Soros :tinfoil:
Sanders vs Kasich would have probably been the ideal D vs R contest for the presidency (although Mattis and Rubio would have probably been reasonable too for the right). Shame that it didn't happen and we got the shitshow we did instead.
Kasich is a pretty moderate republican, this should be a very interesting debate imo
Kasich is a decent dude tbh. Were it him vs. Clinton I'd have still voted Clinton for sure, but on election night I'd have just gone to bed because ~~everything is alright either way~~ instead of staying up til 1 am because holy fuck Trump can't win this.
