this is from 2006 and even beyond that was "rediscovered" at least a full week ago
this is from 2006 and even beyond that was "rediscovered" at least a full week ago
and even then rich idiots being idiots wasn't a new thing
Huh. I only checked back to before the date this particular article went up. Didn't see anything. Well then.
For a moment I read that as burning the poor.
They broke my rich entitled asshole meter.
Now i know who not to give my money to.
To think I almost worked for them...
This man is looking for a good punch.
Well I sure as hell ain't buying their threads if that's how they feel. Not like I buy many clothes to begin with, but if I were big into clothes shopping I'd steer clear of A&F like I was a street-racer.
Well at least they are up front about it so they are easily labeled as cunts.
I like their clothings. Let's not be naive, every brand is doing that, they just happen to have a dumb as fuck manager.
I came in here expecting that they released a comment on how we needed to round up poor people and burn them.
Abercrombie and Fitch is a genuinely horrible company run by terrible people and trying to turn other in to terrible people. They are literally disgusting and I never have nor will I ever buy their shitty, ugly crap.
Since when has abercrombie become a luxury brand? Their jeans have holes in them and run at least 2 sizes too small. They should stop pretending they're Chanel.
I came in here expecting that they released a comment on how we needed to round up poor people and burn them.
It wouldn't be surprising if many of their upper-level employees felt that way.
The CEO is really fucking creepy.
Their clothing is low quality trash anyway. Why would you want to buy jeans that become washed out in two months.
For a moment I read that as burning the poor.
That could be an alternate solution to the problem, though.
at least they are honest about screwing over the poor, and dont pretend charity and donations can patch up the exploitation the average textile workers faces in third world countries for the profit of consumers in the imperialist west. this is consumerist ideology at its most orthodox, and therefore harms contemporary conservative thinking by its ridiculous grander which withs its over identification with capitalist thinking reveals at once the absurd

The flight attendants must wear Abercrombie jeans, flip-flops, boxer briefs, and polo shirts. 2. Flight attendants must respond to all passenger requests with the phrase "No problem", as opposed to "Sure" or "Just a minute". 3. Cabin boys must frequently "spritz" themselves and the plane with Abercrombie cologne. 4. Coats can only be worn on the plane when the temperature is 50 degrees or lower and all polo shirt collars must be flipped. 5. When serving meals attendants must wear black gloves for silverware and white gloves for plates of food. 6. The Phil Collins song "Take Me Home" must be played on the plane's sound system whenever taking off for return trips. 7. Cabin boys should constantly ensure that there are no fingerprints anywhere. 8. All coats need to be zipped to the fourth button from the bottom. The lowest button should be left undone. 9.
at least they are honest about screwing over the poor
No screwing takes place. If its to much for you, you dont buy it. If you can afford it, then its your choice to buy it. The poor are not entitled to Abercrombie and Fitch gear.

"Abercrombie and Fitch doesn’t want to create the image that just anybody, poor people, can wear their clothing. Only people of a certain stature are able to purchase and wear the company name." I literally laughed. Only low-middle class plebs wear their brand. It's ugly, tacky and uninspired. I just checked their shop. 80€ for a sweather? Whoa only the 1% can afford that.
i feel genuinely bad for having brought from them in the not so distant past and still have clothing of theirs i wear sometimes. i think ill donate it to goodwill just to spite them now.
I didn't think it was possible to make Gary Busey any uglier
Don't insult Gary Busey like that :(. Also, there's definitely a gigantic difference between him and Gary Busey. Regarding the CEO, that picture of his is nothing compared to this one. (More serious picture of Busey)
"Why donate clothes to poor people when you can BURN THEM"
The clothes, or the poor people?
