Just after I thought that, I heard Captain America call him 'Bucky' as Bucky was hanging outside the train. As soon as I said out loud "Wait, his name is Bucky? Yeah, he's dead" Bucky fell out of the train and died.[/sp] So the plot point was spoiled only 1 second before it would have been without comic book knowledge. Not that I've ever read a comic...

Oh God. The first one was almost unwatchable it was so bad. Hopefully they have a new director or something, otherwise I'm avoiding this like the plague.
Am I one of the few people who liked Captain America here? I thought it was pretty good. I don't get what people thought went wrong with it?

I was surprised to hear people saying it was awful, it was pretty good to me.
It wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything special.

I didn't care for the film, the IMDB and Metacritic scores are pretty much how I feel about it. Its not great but and terrible, just forgettable. I just think they took a really cool premise and didn't do anything cool with it. Who knows what the sequel will bring though, I'm hopeful but not really expecting much.

Especially the part with the stage show and how the comics and cards were created, I thought that was pretty clever.
It was okay, watchable but I forgot about within a few hours. I still think Chris Evans was a really poor choice for Captain America. Especially in The Avengers, I never felt like he was the leader at all.
