[release] Skinny Puppy Skinny Puppy is a industrial/post industrial band from Canada. They've been making noise since 1982. Members cEvin Key (Kevin Crompton) Nivek Ogre (Kevin Ogilvie) Mark Walk Justin Bennett About It's hard to tell what they're shrieking in their songs but according to Wikipedia they're usually about animal rights, politics, drugs and the general deterioration of the planet. They do a lot of crazy stuff during their performances like mock vivisection and executions. The singer (ogre) wears scary costumes while preforming. I only have VIVISectVI, which is okay. I'm not often in the mood for industrial musc though, but SP's good at what they do.
i like their album rabies
Thank you for finally have a thread on these guys here. I love Skinny Puppy, they're probably the best band at industrial, and have so much good material, it's ridiculous.

I was wearing my Skinny Puppy windbreaker at work and some woman came up to buy a drink and she was like 50 haha "I used to see them at the owl in 88'!" Go Ask Ogre is a neat book by the way..
Skinny Puppy is my religion.
i love too dark park
Aye, finally a SP thread. SP is awesome. Every album of theirs is pretty accesible, but still quite disturbing and complex. Definetly not a band for everyone, but once you get into them, you oughta love them. One of my favorite bands, definetly.
Been looking to get into some industrial other than Manson and NIN, this has just been added to my list, love it
You should check out Throbbing Gristle, it's the roots of industrial. And while you're at it you should check out Psychic TV and Coil. Those two bands were formed by members of Throbbing Gristle after they broke up and are both fantastic.
Needs more Dig It.
One of the best bands ever formed.. well.. that is before Goettel died. The band is just okay now. Too Dark Park (1990) was honestly their greatest album, no doubt.
Even with Goettel gone, they're still amazing. Too Dark Park is a twisted fucking masterpiece.
People might disagree with me, but I really like their newest two albums. Sure, it was a drastic change in sound, but I like what they're doing with it a lot.
Can't wait to see them in November in Cleveland :D I love them
Bitch, they're in Vancouver November third :D
It'll be like a birthday present right from Skinny Puppy.
Always loved SP. They're coming to Dallas in December. I'm going to try and go. Tin Omen is a beautiful piece of work.
SP is sweet stuff. It's really "hit or miss" stuff though.
