So it's a movie about 2012, the supposed Armageddon, Apocalypse, or Judgment Day; what ever you wanna call it.

saw this trailer when i saw The Spirit (terrible movie) and couldn't believe people were making a movie on this. Hollywood has seriously run out of ideas for a movie.
Great another crappy disaster movie with special effects covering up the bad plot and storyline.
Well, I can't really say that it has bad acting or storyline because the movie's not out yet, but these are the same guys who made the american remake of Godzilla!

I liked the American remake of Godzilla. :(
I'd rather sit outside in the cold for two hours then watch a movie like this.

Seriously, the trailer speaks for itself.
This is going to bomb. This is going to be like the day after tomorrow except even worse. It is too big of an idea and vague at the same time, to believe that it can be made into a credible picture.
While I love Woody Harrelson, I do not believe him and John Cusack can carry a movie.
Also the concept itself is too unrealistic, Researchers try to stop the Apocalypse...
Anyone see Armageddon with Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck? Cool idea horrible execution.
This movie will not be successful either since the story seems dark and the actors can not draw a crowd.
Should have come out on 2012, that way I wouldn't be able to watch it.
The plot keywords have improved.
In July 2008 the keywords were these: Christian Film, Missionary, Religion, Temple, Faith, Crucifix, Rapture, Prophecy, Christian.
Also, the guy who is directing this directed the 10,000 BC remake... sooo rule out any facts or deep meaning. Don't forget common sense too :)

the movie doesn't look that good
This movie is undeniable proof of the downfall of hollywood and it's quality.I seriously cannot believe these guys would be dumb enough to feed an already idiotic idea about how the mayan calendar ends here and that's when everything will end because they said "A great change will occur". Funny how they were able to predict our end but not their own.
