Yeah, was wondering what you all use for a thick calorie ration you can eat on the go, or quickly. I generally down wholemilk with as much peanutbutter i can spoon into my mouth, but i was hoping for something i can cook and just have a shit ton of it to eat throughout the week. Maybe protein bars? Anyone have any recipes?
try 2mpad
I was seriously failing to reach calorie intake due to work and school... So I started drinking this shake of the gods every morning and it really helped me past my weight plateau. Get a blender. 1. Put 1 cup of raw oats in the blender. 2 .Blend until its a fine dust. 3. Add whole peanut butter(NOT PEANUT SPREAD) and cinnamon. 4.Add 3 cups of whole milk. 5.Add 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder. 6.Blend into oblivion. It has a TON of calories and 70+ g's of protein depending on ingredients.
slightly unrelated question: if you're bulking and get enough protein but lack some calories, can't you just eat shitty food (chips, candy etc.)?
slightly unrelated question: if you're bulking and get enough protein but lack some calories, can't you just eat shitty food (chips, candy etc.)?
protein isn't the only thing your body needs for muscle growth. In fact, its probably just as important as getting enough fats and carbs. I suggest just eating carbs and fruits when you're not eating high protein foods. Pasta is a great choice, and you can make it in bulk.

Chips and other foods like that are nothing but empty calories that can't really be utilized, and candy has a lot of sugar in which isn't always bad, but when eaten during a weight regimen, it constricts the muscles and slows down your gains. Plus in general eating foods like that isn't very good for your overall health
