I really want this to be good but I dont ever expect them to be anymore.
As a long time AC fan, IMO starting from Unity the series lost the sort-of "epic" feeling to it. I'm not gonna go with this one.

Yeah, despite what a lot of people like to say about the series the games generally held up the quality until Unity. I want Syndicate to be good but it doesn't look like much of an improvement in many regards.
That cover of Silent Running makes me cry
what is it with Ubisoft and using shitty modern covers of 80's songs?
they should've dropped the Assassin's Creed title a while ago.
I wouldn't say dropped but instead worked on with more attention and love
but to do that it'd probably have to be taken away from Ubisoft's clutches.
What bothers me with games that involve jumping on vehicles is stuff like trains is ridiculously wide. Like, our trains aren't THAT fucking wide holy shit
I guess going by the AC pattern, this one should be at least okay? And at least the setting is actually different enough in the last few games, even though the time periods and locales were different, the cities were still pretty similar in terms of what you were climbing on and shit.

And I guess guns will be more of a thing since revolvers now exist?
How do you go lower from AC3? london.
END THE MODERN STORY ALREADY
END THE MODERN STORY ALREADY
They should just return to what Revelations did, make the protagonist comatose and stuck inside the animus while all he can do is review his genetic memories. Focus entirely on the historical plot while sidestepping the modern shenanigans
lol'd at "I'll bring the lads."
END THE MODERN STORY ALREADY
They kinda did already though. In Unity it was limited to just showing a short cutscene of someone talking to you over a webcam or something every once in a while.
Let's be honest, if this game wasn't Assassin's Creed we'd all agree that it looks like a great game.
So I'm gonna give it the benefit of doubt and wait for the release, and until then hope for the best. I still love AC.
The final ass creed needs to be in the modern setting they set up with all the big players related to the templars and assassins
