that was really good
We need more. Seriously, that was fucking great.
I think that it is called 'Freeman's MIND' for a reason so who shakes their head like that when they think.
Wow, I didn't this was worth a separate thread but alright, thanks! Thanks for the feedback.
It would be a lot more interesting to watch all Freeman's Mind episodes done with SFM. Well, a man can dream.

Looks like this beats it. This was way more interesting than his originals. I almost never watch Freeman's mind but this is actually a great idea.
I fricken loved this! It's great! I thought the headbobbing was fine, it added a lot of expression to it and made it fun to watch imo
Great work. I also think there should be a bit less headbobbing. (don't remove it completely though)
This made me remember Freeman's Mind was a thing. I need to watch all of it now.

But the animation quality itself is great, good work.

That was excellent, more please? [IMG]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/IMG]
I thought the headbobbing was on purpose to make up for the fact that you can't really personalize a moving HEV suit. Well done video nonetheless.
Loved it, Head-bobbing was fine/funny.
Him having a helmet might not fit in with all the episodes. I remember him making a big deal out of missing it in earlier episodes.
Him having a helmet might not fit in with all the episodes. I could have left the helmet off (being that it's freemans mind, and not what freeman actually says) but I thought it'd look silly with all this dialogue going on and him just standing there with a blank face.

I also didn't like the head bobbing myself.
It's going to be a year until I get a new PC, and when I do Black Mesa will be the first thing I play.
In this thread, we discuss the quality of a character's head bobbing and whether it is a detriment or a boon to the overall feel of the video.
I actually like the inclusion of the helmet, I mean honestly, how in the golly otherwise is he going to survive getting shot at by 100+ military grunts? Even if they're aiming for the body, odds are there's going to be one stray shot, every bullet that just 'hits the armor instead' kinda pushes how far that explanation can go.
Hahah this guy is fucking GREAT

It's a very tough thing to make it connect with his body, so you're on the right track, just tone it down so it's not as obvious you're trying to connect movement to his voice. Video is awesome though, loved the water section. Reminded me sort of Scooby Doo with it going across the screen.

Great work mate can't wait for some more.
Great work mate can't wait for some more.
Well, if I am to make more, which episode do you guys want me to animate? (keep in mind it will take a while as I already have other videos planned).
