Didn't see it posted or find it. Trailer came out yesterday and are due sep 3 with large old factions redesign and balance changes as well as graphical updates
They are 10% off for people who don't own coh2 and 20% if you already own it iif you pre-order it http://store.steampowered.com/app/365820/
Already pre-ordered this, looking forward to insult my opponents as I call them cunts in five different accents.
Are they going to advertise it as an authentic British campaign and proceed to have all the characters talk in overtly obnoxious cockney accents and have a gameplay mechanic based around drinking tea?
Never gonna be as bad as "The only Russian Battalion is the Penal Battalion!"
If this is anything like the original CoH, it will be the most overpowered faction but yet slip by balancing because it doesn't have that scary Tiger tank.
Does the Russian campaign on Company of Heroes 2 get better? I tried playing the first mission and it feels pretty boring. I've had more fun with Ground Control II these days.

I bet they'll slip in something stupid and out of place too, like Russians pronouncing lieutenant as "leftenant". It'll only be appropriate for Brits to pronounce something in Russian accent now.

Tea instead of fuel resource? :v:
the brits in CoH1 were great. I really enjoyed the variety of accents in their voice acting, especially the lively-yet-smug RP of the bren carriers and stuart tanks and the scottish sappers
Funny they used Churchill speech in the trailer, seeing how it was actually voiced by an actor.

I'm not 100% certain but it's not Montgomery speaking either (if it is it's gone through filters), But it is his speech, or rather speeches, i know for a fact when he's talking about staying here alive or dead he's talking to the 8th army in Africa, then the having a fight with anyone bit was from a speech at a factory, stout hearts and enthusiasm for the contest was his D-Day Speech. The rest I can't place sources on but it's all an amalgamation of catchy lines put together for a trailer, gotta say it does work superbly though.
That stay here alive or stay here dead with the imagery was great, i want that on a wallpaper.
Do they still use the stupid commander microtransaction system in the expansions?

I may be the only one to think this, but the trailer was horrible. No gameplay footage. Just a slideshow. No information on what new units might do.

They're not OP in COH... in 1v1 they're probably the worst faction, and their strength only shines in team games, at which point you still need an american to help push. I'm not that good at COH, but it seems like the brits are slightly worse than the other factions, due to the lack of AT.

I always found when going up against them they're a great defensive faction but not so great at offense, so they need a US player to do all the offense but can create a near impenetrable defense of the player knows what they're doing

that was how they were consciously designed, yeah. they're a turtle + creep forward faction
It's was complete fabrication that the Brits could only defend territory and creep forward slowly. Granted they are really good at it though.
It really did depended entirely on the player and their understanding of the factions abilities. I was fine in 1 v 1's hardly building emplacements unless required and wreaked havoc with the commandos. And not to mention the triangulation beacons to ambush enemy attacks. It arguably required a lot more skill to master that command tree than either of the other 2.

best part were the canadian artillery crews
Much better. Hardly feels like the same game. It will probably feel a bit more like coh1 too now.
