I didn't know that Chris was suppose to be in the original cast. I imagine that Shrek could have been a little different without Mike Myers.

I don't mean to bash Myer's iconic voicework but Chris seems way more emotional in the role. That dialogue was actually kind of sad, but maybe it just has to do with Farley's untimely death.

Chris Farley and John Belushi were always my comedic idols. It's so heartbreaking to stuff like this, a look at what could have been.
people usually think of SNL and tommy boy when they think of farley, but he was a very good actor when given serious roles. he was just really funny too.
I miss Chris Farley. Taken too soon.
