I'm the frontman for a band, and I'd like to see what logo's you can come up with.
The name of the band is Malbikunarvélin. We are Icelandic, and mostly play thrash/speed metal. I know the name is quite a mouthful, but consider it a challenge.

And I suppose I should let you know that a "Malbikunarvél" is a pavement-making vehicle, such as this:

doesn't sound fitting for a... thrash metal band. unless you have guttural vocals, in that case you can scrap the "speed metal" part out of your description.

These are all nice, and will be taken into consideration, but having an actual paver in the logo wasn't really what I had in mind. I was thinking more about the letters. For example: [img]http://christwire.org/wp-content/uploads/megadeth_logo2.jpg[/img]
But of course, all ideas are welcome.

If you want something proper, then you should give us some more information in what it is that you want.

But yes, as I said, I'd prefer no images of pavers in the logo, just the word written with some metal-y letters.

If i was looking through gigs i'd be like "fuck seeing that band i can't even tell my friends about it cause i can't pronounce it"

If you want one of my logos (I would presume the first one as the second looks worse every time I see it) then just ask. I can upload the .ai file or a transparent .png depending what you can work with.

Although we're also thinking about renaming the band if we ever get global success. Or maybe even have the current name released on records in Iceland and the other globally.
Ask your friends to write your band name with the jizz on the black paper, then scan it and your typical metal artwork is ready.
