Wish I didn't have to download a whole Steam directory from a third-party due to Steam being bugged on my PC, but who cares. At least it works.

That was dropped like five years ago.
I actually need the 2K support as I got a development box that needs Steam runnign to make it worth while to run.
That must have being the reason my game is soooooooooo slow.
