Have you ever listened to their outtakes? It's clearly not scripted, you can tell when they use scripts for specific parts, and the way they act is totally different, they're not good actors, if the whole thing was scripted, you'd be able to tell.
I watched a film called Shaun of the Dead but it was shit becuase it was clearly scripted.
