Someone's dream job has been shattered.
lets do this
I completely understand the idea of not letting recreational drug users take part. If they were in the pool, even if the drugs they used had little or no bearing on results, it would make the test seem phony or less credible. Good job on the Uni's part.
It's alright, baby, this is for science!
Is the testing environment going to be a simulation of a bathroom stall in a building on Wall Street?

I go to King's and got the email about this (but I'm not 25).
The reason they don't want recreational drug users is because the experiment is predominantly about detecting the use of cocaine from hair and other bodily samples. If someone already takes drugs, then it may give false positives.

They just whip up some lines on their smartphones instead, no time for going to the bathroom.
Getting chinged up in the name of science.
Quality.
Might this be another part for the Drugs Live broadcast on Channel 4?

It would of been worth staying just for this :v:
How much cocaine
How much cocaine
all of it
If it's for science...
I would do it because Tony Montana is a cool guy.
Wow, it's in London? Well fuck that then, I'll just study the effects of cocaine here by myself!
If it's for Science, why not. I offer myself up. As long as you get a free recovery after the down time, and don't become addicted.
I will float on clouds, pretend I'm an airplane, take off my clothes, throw shit around, go up to the doctors and freak out.
Cocaine~
- Recreational users of the drug will NOT be allowed to take part
okay this makes it a challenge
I would do this if i was old enough and lived in london
i'm not sure if people here actually want to do cocaine for a "study" or if they're just making fun of it
Are there any long turn damages from taking it once or twice? I'd be sketchy about taking it even once.
- Recreational users of the drug will NOT be allowed to take part
I'm pretty sure it's only off limits to people who use coke recreationally, not necessarily all recreational drug users.

No there are not.

Only the long term damages of regretting you didn't take it before now.
Top London polic- I mean, university asks for volunteers to take cocaine for "study".
isn't euro coke really shitty and cut or something?
I'd take coke for science, I probably wouldn't do it for anything else though.
[editline]24th February 2013[/editline]
Part of me also thinks it's bullshit because of the Daily Mail.

Ehhhhh, depends. You get some okay stuff but it's usually expensive as fuck, the general quality is shit.
