about a week of work into mixing this thing, this is my best work so far, while its not great, its a lot better than my last one, please note I can't sing, but this is a present to the writer of the lyrics to this song jacob, who is celebrating 18. :P Oh also and, his English isn't the best so ignore the diction in the song. Also,Guitars and vocals sound like shit because this is how I recorded everything: [editline]02:54PM[/editline] Bump it.
I think it was a good song. Good job. [editline]07:01PM[/editline] Btw. What program you used?
We've got the same amplifier high five
Cubase 5. Also: *insert high five hand here*
Not my favorite style of punk but definitely two thumbs up for the production!
Use autotune on the singing and boost the medium and high levels just a tad on the guitar and maybe experiment with the drums a bit the same as the guitar with a multiband dynamic.
Don't use autotune. Don't care for the singing, you're a punk.
MenteR, you sir, are awesome. I didn't want to use auto-tune this time because it's a shortcut, a cheat. Also, not a punk, just a nerd :) Edit: And skifer, the guitars came out roomy due to two reasons: 1.I recorded the guitars with the mic angled facing the ground (I have no stand.) 2.I forgot to turn off the reverb on the amp(and reverb+reverb= fail) I only had like 2 or 3 days to make this and mix it, I did my best and I'm still finding ways to improve my improvised recording methods.
I like it, just get some better recording equipment is my only hint. Sounds good!
Bump it.
i hate it, the singer is horrible.
Don't use autotune. Don't care for the singing, you're a punk.
Only a little bit
Sounds pretty gay to me. Though I don't like that particular variation of music.
