Yeah I was kind of thinking the same considering they never really show them climbing over the ladder. The footage where they walked passed the security guards might be real. I don't really see how they would be able to just walk out in the open with it, unless the security was all in on it too, but I don't see that being likely.
They snuck through a press area, and the ladder with them wasn't used for climbing, but rather to give a cover story as to why they were there. Basically, "Oh yeah, we are just setting up cameras for the aftergame!" and such.
So long as you look like you are meant to be there, no one will question what you are doing.
I work security for concerts and music festivals and I know some guards who would see someone walking by with a ladder or something and be like, sure okay.
Me personally, if I don't see your work/media wristband or lanyard, I'd ask you what's up but sometimes if it's near the end of my shift and I see someone that miiiight not belong there, I'd be just like. meh, someone might ask him, but I'm going to sleep.
Makes it hard to believe without the high vis jacket. Most places, you put a high vis jacket, a hard helmet and a walkie talkie on and you basically have a free pass to walk wherever you want.
I remember looking at this in psychology in school years ago as well, a lot of scams are conducted with that sorta equipment because people have a very strong association with that look and authority, which makes them far more susceptible to scams.
They also reported the issue to NFL officials at the end - so good on them.

Problem isn't the ladder. That part of the video is pretty believable. Getting into the arena with backpacks(thats full of NSA and FBI mind you) and finding seats for 4-5 dudes in a sold out show sends up huge red flags. Plus they never actually show themselves inside the arena.
I only watched the video for Guy Fieri tbh.

Guy Fieri is a joke

So basically you get lazy on your security job because it's the end of the shift? And that random dude roaming around miiiiight not belong there, but he miiiight not be a threat of some kind?
Sounds like your employer needs to rethink hiring you.

Imagine a shooting or some other incident happening and you were too incompetent to prevent it. Lmfao.
You probably shouldn't have your Facebook linked here, especially since it has your full name and the exact place you work at. It would be quite awful if someone here snitched!

Pretty sure he didn't need this pointing out to him at all.
I'm sure he could get into the specifics of why it's not a big issue the way he goes about it and to be honest I'm surprised you can't fathom that out for yourself. No need to be an ass.

If you can't do your job properly, you shouldn't be doing it. He has his entire family and all their names just out in the open, do you seriously think he thought this through?

I guess he didn't expect some random person on a forum to propose reporting him and make him lose his job.
If it's the end of his shift either A: the event is about to end or B: others will replace him immediately in which case as he said they would question the suspicious person.
If someone looks very suspicious he's going to question them one way or another. I think a guy who actually works security could easily tell you the difference between someone sneaking in to see the show VS someone planning to do something bad. If you were going to do something bad at an event you wouldn't risk sneaking in and getting caught before you can do whatever, you'd ensure the plan is solid AKA get a ticket.
Even without considering all of this, why would you or anyone else feel it necessary to report him? On the absolute minor off-chance a terrorist decides to gamble on sneaking into an event and this guy might let him walk on? Seems such a largely unlikely reason to willingly cause someone to lose their job. It's of no direct consequence to you, you aren't potentially saving anyone you're just being an ass.

I debated whether to bump an old thread or let it die, but bro, all I was pointing out was that he should take his job more seriously, because he is in security, and at a moment notice anything could happen. He doesn't need to lose his way of living though.
