Affiliates work to get content and series' onto Machinima's main channel, but Machinima will demand it after a while so generally directors end up putting kind of meh content on Machinima and put the good stuff on their main channel since they can't double monetize the videos.
They know they'll usually get better traffic on their own channel usually.
