"I'd advise Mr Trump to quit whining," Mr Obama added. ... "By the way," said Mr Obama, "doesn't really show the kind of leadership and toughness that you want out of a president, if you start whining before the game's even over. ... "Mr Trump's continued flattery of Mr Putin and the degree to which he appears to model much of his policies and approach to politics on Mr Putin is unprecedented," Mr Obama said at Tuesday's Rose Garden news conference, alongside visiting Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. ... Mr Trump, who has made several admiring remarks about Vladimir Putin, said on Monday he would consider visiting Russia before taking office, if elected. :godzing: and yet, this won't change anything, except give Trump something new to whine about.
:godzing: and yet, this won't change anything, except give Trump something new to whine about.
He will whine about how Obama is a bigger whiner somehow, mark my words
He will whine about how Obama is a bigger whiner somehow, mark my words
Maybe he's go on complete autopilot and say "I'm the best whiner. Nobody has whines like me."
I wonder if obama thinks all trumps gripes are "whining" Perhaps obama prefers a meek "going along with everything" president? i dont even get how this is a zing tbh name one politician that is happy and content about the current political situation... yea, they are all whiners.
He will whine about how Obama is a bigger whiner somehow, mark my words
Which reminds me. Once it was clear Obama won in 2012, Trump whined a lot on Twitter due to how Mitt Romney won the popular vote yet still lost to Obama due to Electoral College. Before all votes were even counted, that is. Once they were all counted, it was clear Obama won popular vote too by 4 points.
I wonder if obama thinks all trumps gripes are "whining" Perhaps obama prefers a meek "going along with everything" president? i dont even get how this is a zing tbh name one politician that is happy and content about the current political situation... yea, they are all whiners.
I think it's more in reference to Trump's lack of a plan and mostly just complaining about things.
I wonder if obama thinks all trumps gripes are "whining" Perhaps obama prefers a meek "going along with everything" president? i dont even get how this is a zing tbh name one politician that is happy and content about the current political situation... yea, they are all whiners.
It's more about him being a sore loser and child and going all "nuh-uh I can't lose no way I'm too good if I lose then it's rigged".
Traditionally, the first international visit a new US President makes is to Canada; likewise, the first visit a new Prime Minister makes is over the border to the south. The only recent exception has been George W. who didn't visit Canada for a while, and also took four years to thank us for taking tens of thousands of Americans into our communities and even private homes for up to a week when American airspace was shut down and all airborne planes shunted to Canada during 9/11. President Trump would likely visit Putin first, as stated in the OP. Think about what that means.
Obama is the President that keeps on giving. I seriously want him to become a comedian after this; even if he just did the delivery, it'd be priceless.

It's really hard to misunderstand what Obama said here, somehow you succeeded, though.
No cold war, nuclear holocaust and no bickering superpowers playing with nation states like pawns in a game of chess? Id sign for that.
Appeasement didn't work the last few times it was tried, don't open your mouth for it now.
No cold war, nuclear holocaust and no bickering superpowers playing with nation states like pawns in a game of chess? Id sign for that.
Except Trump would escalate things with Iran and China, while just giving Putin a free reign to what he wants in Europe. Yeah, how about no.
No cold war, nuclear holocaust and no bickering superpowers playing with nation states like pawns in a game of chess? Id sign for that.
If you really think this is going to happen, you've got another thing coming. Putin isn't going to stop playing local strongman anytime soon. Nation states are still going to become pawns for one side or the other. Trump managed to insult Putin badly enough once already, and it's unlikely he ever forgave or forgot that, so don't expect them to get along like best buds even if Trump's stupid enough to think that bygones will be bygones in his case. Appeasement does not work, and never will.
No cold war, nuclear holocaust and no bickering superpowers playing with nation states like pawns in a game of chess? Id sign for that.
Putin knows Trump is a tool and would use him for his advantage, plus Trump would worsen things with China, do you forget he thinks global warming is a chinese hoax? He's an idiot with bad temperament, he'd make things worse for everyone.
Obama is the President that keeps on giving. I seriously want him to become a comedian after this; even if he just did the delivery, it'd be priceless.
He could become an vintner on the other side of the country and plenty of people would still view him as President before either of the other two.
This is only tangentially related, but one of the documents Wikileaks recently leaked indicates that at least a couple of higher-ups in the DNC thought that some of the caucuses Obama won in 2008 were rigged by his people. These comments directed at Trump to stop whining about electoral fraud would be pretty ironic if it turned out that those allegations were true.
Appeasement is what national politics is called when its preferred to sound like a bad thing. You guys really think hillary is not going to try and appease putin if she gets into power when it comes to a nuclear crisis? last time that happened, the USSR had a wimp for a leader... i doubt putin would have backed down and we would have been in a post MAD world thanks to Kennedy even if he still probably was one of the best presidents the US had. warts and all Edit: same applies to khrushev tbh, he was a wimp but in hindsight and with documents declassified he staved off MAD with the maximum amount the US was letting the soviets get away with...
Obama is the President that keeps on giving. I seriously want him to become a comedian after this; even if he just did the delivery, it'd be priceless.
I think he should be a regular on daily show or colbert report-I mean Late Show
Obligatory Reference Obama should have his own personal web series.

Sad!
No cold war, nuclear holocaust and no bickering superpowers playing with nation states like pawns in a game of chess? Id sign for that.
Yeah and if half of Europe gets taken over then you know that's just groovy
He will whine about how Obama is a bigger whiner somehow, mark my words
Or better yet, he'll try to take the high ground and criticize him for saying something un-presidential and say that a president shouldn't be insulting his citizens. Then he'll immediately say something about Rosie O'Donnel.

You serious? If Trump wins Eastern Europe will be fucked, since Trump already said that he doesn't like how NATO is now anyways. After that, NATO will break apart, and Europe will fall even deeper on Russian influence. Russia is never to be trusted, thought you lot in Western Europe would know that already from the Cold War. It seems only us that were under USSR's influence and have plenty of history with Russia know very damn well that their imperialist tendencies will never die down. Since the times of Tzars, to now.
It's about Trump whining about (non-existent) rigging before he has even lost. It's really hard to misunderstand what Obama said here, somehow you succeeded, though.
he's whiny even outside of the political stage too
he's whiny even outside of the political stage too
Didn't want to lay too much on Blizzerd at once, you know.
Bill O'Reilly said the same thing yesterday at the Late Show.
