It's really interesting, it shows how a guy had to deal with the loss of his friend, becomes pissed with those chavs, and decide to take law into his own hands. The film stars Michael Caine as the protagonist. Its a shame it was pretty underrated, never heard it coming to my cinemas. I love how he doesn't give a shit about the law, and fight these chavs. If only there were people like these during the London Riots.
The story follows Harry Brown, a widowed Royal Marine veteran, who had served in Northern Ireland, living on an Elephant and Castlehousing estate that is rapidly descending into youth crime. Harry fights fire with fire after a friend is murdered.
This movie was really awesome. I knew Michael Caine was a badass but I had no idea he could surpass it. When the climax hits it hits hard.
I really enjoyed this film.
I loved this film, I was kind of expecting a full on punisher: war zone revenge film but in the end it turned into quite the masterpeice.
The skinny drug-addict guy did the best acting in the move in my opinion (next to Caine).
This movie is horrible. I half expected to see 'sponsored by the Daily Mail' come up at the end. Sure it's fun to watch Caine do his thing but all of the supporting characters are grossly distorted caricatures of people. Such a bigoted movie.
yes, because the movie industry needs more generic revenge flicks
Saw the poster for this ages ago and assumed it would be something I wouldn't be interested in. Oh how wrong I was. This looks very good. Michael Caine is quite the badass.
The movie even capture the feel of how a Michael Caine movie was when he was young.
So did no one else pick up on the seriously right wing undercurrents in this movie?

Then the riots happened.
