Professional European golfers challenge American heckler to make $100 putt and he drains it

During a practice round Thursday at Hazeltine National, a guy named David Johnson from North Dakota was heckling European golfers Rory McIlroy and Andy Sullivan, who were struggling with their putts on Hole 8.

So reigning British Open champion Henrik Stenson playfully went up to the crowd and brought Johnson onto the green to have a shot at it. Recent Olympic gold medalist Justin Rose placed a $100 bill next to the ball just to make things more interesting.

Turns out he didn’t need to. Johnson made it plenty interesting on his own. Using what was thought to be Sullivan’s putter and cracking jokes the entire time (“Home soil, right?”), Johnson sunk the putt from 12 feet out.[/QUOTE]

Man, and I get nervous speaking in front of 20 college students.

This guy just nailed that, in front of a crowd, after being challenged by a pro, while being bet against by another pro, after heckling the aforementioned pro.

Best part about it was everyone was having a good time. The guy wasn't even mad about the heckling. It's nice to see some fun for a change.

In fact it kinda looks like he declined the $100 at first but the golfer insisted.
