I've noticed that the high I get when mixing my weed with tobacco is a lot different to the high I get when I smoke it with my usual herbal mix (which contains damiana, passion flower and wild lettuce). With tobacco I get really high, really fast and it's more a strong body high than a mental high. With the herbal mix it takes a while to reach the peak and I get a calmer, more meditative, mental high.
Does anyone know if this is the THC reacting with the tobacco/mix? Also, are there other things I can mix with to get different results? It seems awesome to me to be able to tailor my high depending on what I want from it.
I'm almost sure it is the THC reacting with the tobacco. I had a cigarette the other day and I had the same reaction myself.
I smoke cigarettes anyway and I can't notice any difference when i mix weed with tobacco. Maybe you're just getting a nicotine rush from the tobacco
The nicotine makes your blood run faster, so the weed hits you quicker, but doesnt last as long. I dont smoke spliffs but I do enjoy a good cig after smoking a joint.
Just a nicotine rush, mainly experienced in people who do not smoke tobacco normally
I'm so disappointed. I thought I'd come across something brilliant. FML
Don't give up so fast! There's evidence that Nicotine increases the potency of drugs that act on dopamine receptors (which weed does!).
This isn't gospel but many people believe that Nicotine potentiates weed.
:xd: haha freshman, theres toking buddies that believe mixing tobacco with weed gives you a stronger high. its a shame most of them smoke years longer than i do yet they haven't tried all methods of consuming.
I love either mixing baccy in with my weed and smoking it in a bowl / spliff, or getting real baked and having a couple darts. Weed and tobacco is definitely one of my favourite combinations. The high goes straight to your head and comes on faster and stronger than with just green.
