IIRC in Worms 2 if you placed one on top of a worm, all the clusters would hit him instantly dealing more than 100 damage making cluster grenades super good.

No, that trick worms in Armageddon as well. I had a guy do it to me. I was standing on a slight slope, he jumped underneath me, placed the grenade, ran away and then every fragment came up and hit me simultaneously...it works :(
He also worked his way through the edge of a roofed map and got on top of it and used the bungee cord anchored to bullshit nothing after finishing a jetpack,a right fucker that guy was.
