So, I had this thing I call "Fast Sleeping". This only happened twice in my life. I was in my family's car then i just closed my eyes then BOOM. I was already where we were suppose to be. Then one night i was sleeping in the floor i closed my eyes, then it was already like 6:00 AM. I'm very curious about this and googling it didn't help. So i ask you Facepunch, did any of you guys had this?
I wish, it usually takes me ages to get to sleep. I'll see if I can find anything on it.
I've had this happen to me on a school night yeah I was pissed, I didn't feel like I got any sleep
It's a side effect of attempting to watch fireworks shows I always fall asleep five minutes before the show starts and awake five minutes after the show ends
I love doing that in class and in cars. :350:
That sounds amazing.
You have powers!!!
this has happened to me a few times someday, i hope for it to happen again
Yeap, it happened to me twice too.
Happened once. I blinked and suddenly it was morning. I was like 6 and it was on Christmas eve. I got lucky.
Happened before for me too. It felt like a blink, literally. I wasn't groggy when I woke up, I felt like I had only closed my eyes for a moment.
Always happens to me.
I'm pretty sure you guys are thinking about a more advanced form of microsleep. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsleep [editline]11:35PM[/editline] Zombii, FPMD
I wish I could control it
I'm about to try this for real.
You should schedule an appointment with Dr. Facepunch. He'll say it's a brain tumor and then book you for a penis amputation, but better safe than sorry.

I've microslept while driving plenty of times and the amount of people I've ran over doesn't total as "dangerous."

I've had dreams that seemed to last weeks. It's cool how your brain can fuck with you like that.
Why would you want to feel like you got a little bit of sleep? I'd rather fall asleep then wake up thinking "Damn! That was a long and refreshing sleep!"
That article is wrong. I've microslept while driving plenty of times and the amount of people I've ran over doesn't total as "dangerous."
One day you will run over someone with bad health insurance
I know exactly what you're talking about.. i love it when this happens and your in the car for a long ride. :)
I like the daydreams before sleep. They influence the direction/content of my dreams most of the time. (I wish I could have gotten that lucid dreaming stuff)
I read the title as "Fart Sleeping"
You have powers!!!
That song was priceless. I used to play it when ordering gold from MMO gold sites. Hell they finished giving it to me twice as fast.
This happens when I have teeth removed, and they gas me.
I still want to get Lucid dreaming down. Shit, this and lucid dreaming but the opposite. [editline]10:56PM[/editline] oh wait that wouldn't work.
This happens when I have teeth removed, and they gas me.
This. You get gassed and wake up after what feels like a fraction of a second. Anyone know what this is actually called? (The "fraction of a second" perceived sleep)
