http://usuncut.com/news/arizona-polling-disaster/
Leaders from the Arizona branch of the Democratic Party have confirmed that its lawyers are officially making an inquiry after multiple Democratic voters showed up to the polls only to find that they were listed as independents, Republicans, or had no party affiliation at all. Many voters wound up having to wait in line under the hot Arizona sun only to find that they were ineligible to vote for the candidates of their choice. To add insult to injury, the polling locations have been so poorly planned that many voters had to wait in line up to four hours before finding out that their information had been improperly filed. Arizona’s primaries aren’t even done yet, and there’s already legal action being taken as a result of incompetence or possibly even intentional sabotage. To add insult to injury, the polling locations have been so poorly planned that many voters had to wait in line up to four hours before finding out that their information had been improperly filed. This isn’t just conspiracy theory, either. Maricopa County, home of Phoenix, which is traditionally very conservative, is four times larger than Pima County, which houses Tucson, a traditionally liberal city. Yet despite over 4 million people residing in Maricopa County, and less than 1 million living in Pima County, Pima had twice as many polling locations as Maricopa, according to AZCentral.com. Joe Dana, a reporter with 12 News in Phoenix, tweeted that despite 500,000 more primary voters in 2016 than 2012, Maricopa County polling places had dwindled considerably for this election. Poll workers have been giving out “provisional ballots,” according to 12 News. It’s unclear at this time as to whether these ballots will actually count in the Arizona primary, and whether intentional or not, it could result in the disenfranchisement of Arizona voters. Some frustrated residents are taking to YouTube and social media to voice their frustrations. Some frustrated residents are taking to YouTube and social media to voice their frustrations. No word has been given as to whether there was a pattern as to which kind of demographics were experiencing this kind of treatment, and no explanation has been given regarding what caused this bizarre error. “We’ve been getting calls all day from lifelong Democrats who have been registered as independents,” Enrique Gutierrez, communications director for the Arizona Democratic Party, told US Uncut. “One woman even said she’d been registered as a Libertarian.” When asked how this might affect the election, he responded that it would be close, and that they were doing their best:
Provisional ballots are usually the last to be counted. It might swing the election, to be honest, depending on how close it is here. If there’s a mistake in our system, we want to fix it. Their votes should be counted. Everyone’s votes should be counted. We’ve been hearing all day from people, and they’re pretty upset.

My god. This is disturbing the level this is going to. Even if this is just due to incompetence and not actual election fraud, then that's seriously fucked up...
Sanders campaign is saying barely any of last nights vote were registered in, and since there's about 950,000 registered democrats in Arizona, what the results show is that only about 100,000 voted in person. This can't be true since there were more than a few polling centres that had to stay open hours after they were supposed to close due to how many turned out.
Re-fucking-do. That's all there is to it. Find who's responsible for this and grass their ass, and then redo it. Maricopa County you fucked up.
So are we gonna expect a second polling in Maricopa county or just move on to the next states and pretend that it never happen?

Maricopa County you fucked up.
There's a petition that's picking up quite a bit of steam for a federal investigation into election fraud. My Facebook was exploding last night. Had friends show up as registered Democrats and be told they were actually Independents and their votes wouldn't be counted. Total mess.
That's why I like my states system, you go, they ask what party, then you vote then.
I recall reading many instances of suspicious activity at the voting booths, but nothing so blatant
Why is Clinton still legally allowed to run? (User was banned for this post ("Did not read article" - GunFox))
What an absolute mess.
Why is Clinton still legally allowed to run?
Did you even read the article?
Well I thought something was a mess when they called it with .1% of the vote counted
Well I thought something was a mess when they called it with .1% of the vote counted
Sometimes it's obvious who has won, but crazy to call it with thousands still in line 3 hours after polls close

Should be a redo of the vote, with proper access to voting booths.

ok mr Governor, what are you going to actually do then? Have a re-do? Statements are sails without wind.
Another petition that is circulating online following the Arizona primary election calls for Maricopa County Recorders Helen Purcell and Karen Osborne to be impeached for their roles in the alleged primary election fraud on Western Tuesday in Arizona. That petition hasn’t gotten quite as much traction as the call for the White House to officially investigate the alleged voter fraud and suppression that took place during the Arizona primaries. So far, it’s had less than 100 online signatures. Helen Purcell spoke out on Wednesday at a meeting of the Board of Supervisors, taking “full responsibility” for the alleged voter fraud and suppression, long lines and hours-long waits that voters faced during Tuesday’s Arizona primary elections, going on to add that she’d “screwed up,” reports 12 News. However, despite taking personal responsibility for the delays that voters faced, and despite the fact that Republican Arizona Governor Doug Ducey called the long lines and wasted time “unacceptable,” Purcell says she won’t resign. As an Arizonian I can confirm. Shits fucked here politically, boys. [editline]23rd March 2016[/editline] However, knowing Arizona politics, nothings going to get done. Everyone will get away with it and no redo will be held. I can guarantee you that much.
it's nice to hear about my county fucking up on national headlines i didn't bother to go voting yesterday but i heard about what a clusterfuck it was
However, knowing Arizona politics, nothings going to get done. Everyone will get away with it and no redo will be held. I can guarantee you that much.
:toxx: ?
:toxx: ?
No toxx, just frustration. Ive seen this happen many many times in my state and nothing ever gets done. I have little faith, call me pessimistic.
No toxx, just frustration. Ive seen this happen many many times in my state and nothing ever gets done. I have little faith, call me narcissistic.
Come on, not even a 3 day toxx?
Come on, not even a 3 day toxx?
That's not how Toxx's work.
so despite triple the expected voter turnout from last cycle AZ moved from 200 to (what was it, 60?) voting locations??? who''s in charge here [snip-fixed]
Come on, not even a 3 day toxx?
I'm no betting man. Knowing my luck, if I made a toxx bet they'd do a redo the very next day. Don't get me wrong, theres nothing I'd love more than a redo, but I'd like to keep my account.

Why does this happen? We've got all of the technology to make polling incredibly easy and accurate yet here we are still making people wait at polls and not counting every vote for what reason?
