A serial killer is someone like Jeffery Dahmer: Multiple killings over a period of time, usually with a certain target in mind

It's actually two people now. The FBI changed the definition a while ago.

I read somewhere that the FBI estimateso there could be anywhere from 50-100 or so active serial killers in the US right now
