A team of paramedics are being investigated after they used an ambulance to take garden waste to a tip. The crew skipped others waiting in a queue at the recycling centre. Two paramedics in green uniform were then seen removing at least ten sacks of garden waste from the back of the emergency vehicle. IT worker Matthew Chubb, 27, said he 'couldn't believe his eyes' when he saw the crew - who were wearing identification - unload the waste in St Austell, Cornwall Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1285483/Paramedics-used-ambulance-garden-waste-tip.html#ixzz0qUBcJVsS
oh britain
why?
What a waste of an ambulance :colbert:
oh britain
Yeah, fucking brits. I bet they all secretly use ambulances to transport garden waste all the time.
"garden waste"
Atleast they were off duty
they used an ambulance to take garden waste to a tip.
Is "tip" British slang for landfill? I'm not sure what's happening here.

So? My dad bumped a Transit Tipper to carry a table tennis table at lunch
That's pretty awesome actually.
Awesome
I don't seem to find anything wrong with this.
You're not supposed to use the Ambulance for none-work purposes, I suppose. But it's really not that big of a deal. It's not like they were transporting drugs or anything.
Body parts. They could have at least sold them. I hear organs are worth quite a lot to the right people. You didn't hear anything.
They must have soiled their pants after getting caught.
The biggest problem is really the risk of dirt and shit getting on the equipment in the ambulance. I guess they clean ambulances pretty often though.
Before I even clicked on this thread I said aloud 'This is a Daily Mail article' to no one in particular and proceeded to click. I was right. quote a different source please.

Any time there is blood, vomit, semen(you don't want to know) or any other bodily fluid we wipe down the whole thing with anti microbial wipes or if it is really bad the entire back gets hosed out and scrubbed. What they did was kind of stupid but as long as they cleaned it out it's not that big of a deal.
Ugh, that is vile. Think of all the microorganisms that could have contaminated it!
I love how if this was America, everyone on these forums would be flipping tables calling them stupid and wasteful and a whole list of other names. Funny how this works.

Maybe it was a really sick person that looked like garden waste.
