I thought that the Galaxy Gear ad was embarassing, but this fucking thing is a million times worse.
Wouldn't he need to hold the mouth to his ear and the ear to his mouth?
Okay I don't think I cringed but I certainly don't think it was a good advertisement.

The director was obviously George W. Bush:

That was obviously crap, but what about the self healing phone? What's that all about? Is it cheap advertising or actual nanomachines?

yes
It's like someone wanted to make a Tim and Eric-esque commercial, but then missed a turn.
A lot of times.

The back case is made of a polymer that somewhat rebonds to itself when split - it only really avoids light scratches though.
Terrible.

I bet they tried that but having a mouth on your fingers would look wrong.

well, more wrong than on your palm
I've got one of these, it's actually a good phone. The 'self healing' stuff is bullshit, it's more like anti-scuff because if something sharp enough actually cuts into it there's still gonna be a visible mark and I really don't see the point of it since it's on the back of the phone anyway. You know, on the opposite side you'll be looking at where it doesn't have a screen.
I don't use my phone as a cutting board anyway, I just like the form factor both when I'm using it and when I've got it in my cargo pocket, and the curved screen helps cut down on glare like, a lot. The slight flexibility is a nice bit of insurance against screen breakage too, especially when I've got it in my pocket, and damn it holds a charge for days even under heavy use.
the ending wtf
the ending wtf
it's a masturbation joke
the ending made me extremely uncomfortable
Video got deleted
aaaand its gone
And its back? Still works for me
What the fuck is self healing?
That was weird.
The curved screen looks like it would be hard to break by dropping it.
what the fuck is the point of a curved phone other than "Hey look what WE can do!"

Which ad are you referring to? Because the only one for that I saw wasn't that bad.

Form factor, it's actually really nice compared to flat phone. Rests in my cargo pocket better too.
Wtf is up with the fat guy's hair?
I bet the screens in them are expensive and a pain in the ass to replace.
what an absolute rubbish ad
