Hundreds of mysterious spheres lie beneath the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, an ancient six-level step pyramid just 30 miles from Mexico City.
The enigmatic spheres were found during an archaeological dig using a camera-equipped robot at one of the most important buildings in the pre-Hispanic city of Teotihuacan.
"They look like yellow spheres, but we do not know their meaning. It's an unprecedented discovery," said Jorge Zavala, an archaeologist at Mexico's National Anthropology and History Institute.[/quote]

Why does everything have a meaning? People used to bury their highly regarded with riches to keep in the afterlife and shiz, I'm sure that some yellow marbles crafted from some expensive material would count too. I mean even if it would still seem sorta inconvenient to wear/carry around to use as currency in the afterlife, but I guess it's the thought that counts.

Tell me on the doll where the fun touched you.
Weather balloons.
Dwemer robots, obviously
Solid balls of piss used to worship the piss gods of piss mountain
I'm assuming if we bring them all together they'll form into a giant Vectorman style robot and go on a jerky Mode 7 rampage.
Goat turds
I expected some hovering crystal-like spheres whispering creepy shit directly into your mind.

This is what they actually found.
I think I have a wrong idea of archeology, thanks to Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider.
That looks a lot like gold.

Man they really stretched the word "Spheres".
If that's a sphere, my turd is a tetrahedron.
Today we learned how many yellow spheres there are in fiction.
