I love how the front suspension of the Mustang just collapses at the end during that handbrake turn.
And then everything was crappy and processed, like mc donalds =(
Exactly why I find so many older movies more appealing, none of the stupid color correction filters making everything dull or green, just vibrant natural color.
I love watching movies from yesteryear, it's like a time machine back to when everything was REAL. People took pride in things, and not everything had to be synthetic or mass produced. I especially adore movies from the 70's as that decade just OOZED style. [editline]19th February 2012[/editline] What i absolutely love about this chase scene though, is the soundtrack. During the initial tailing you get some suspense music allowing the scene to flow nicely and get you interested and engaged with what was going on. Then, as soon as the challenger peels out to try to get away from the mustang, the music stops dead. The movie lets the cars narrate the scene giving their own music score. The powerful growls from the engine, the tires screeching at every turn, rubber screaming from the friction. It collaborates together to form a perfect symphony of action, suspense, and excitement. All this, and not a single word was spoken.
that mustang looks naked without the badge
AH!...Driving in San Francisco, the hills, fresh sea air and gas was about 20 cents a gallon...
I always wished Driver were more like this. Or any game with car chases, really.
