that 70% is bullshit. They cost exactly what they are, they just put the tag next to it so retards coming in and buying pants think they got a good deal on them
I heard a bullshit case where a shoplifter stole some merchandise, got apprehended, charged civil demand and went to court. When they were in court his defense lawyer pointed out that there was a "SALE" sign in the CCTV video of the theft and the shoplifter was charged the full price of the merchandise he stole.
The judge knocked down his felony theft charge to a misdemeanor.
The worst part; the sale sign was on a completely different rack from the one he stole from.
