What do a bunch of slow-motion rat trap videos have to do with a murder?
What do a bunch of slow-motion rat trap videos have to do with a murder?
The murder weapon must have been a very elaborate series of rat traps which ended with blowing someone up using a pixie stick and buckshot.
What dicks
Isn't NBC owned by Comcast? I bet the producers were like, well, Comcast p. much owns half of the internet in the US so they thought they had rights to it. It wouldn't surprise me.

If you read a synopsis of the Dateline episode:
Someone killed a guy by making a bomb in his toolbox in his truck. The bomb was triggered when the box was opened and a bolt fell on the rat trap, hitting a firing pin, igniting the bomb. They took this guy's computer and found this video on his history. This was actually at another suspects trial, and the guy was just a witness. He said it was his son's computer and the video had hundreds of thousands of views, so it wasn't a big deal that it was on his history. The other guy ended up being convicted.
The murderer supposedly referenced the video for his actions, and this video was used as court evidence. Evidence is classified as fair use and is open to the public. The only case the guy has is that they cropped out his watermark on the video, which could be assumed that they're trying to protect his name because if you take a look at the actual video, people are calling him a murderer / contributed to the murder. Please read up before making baseless / idiotic claims.

No, it doesn't, they still should of asked.
during the showing of The Dark Knight rises and show the whole movie legally?
Fair use is limited. You can quote a sentence, not an entire book.
