Hey everyone, I just wanted to share the video I created for my internship last year! My cousin did the voicework and I did all the visual stuff. I redesigned the company's logo and created a new mascot character for them as well:

I watched this without sound first to see if the images were informative enough to understand what you're trying to sell. You succeeded! Clean, Informative, nice drawings. Very good ad commercial, ryu. And Good job on not going overboard on the kawaiiness.
Celga Inc.-chan is my new waifu
Is this where I can buy Godzilla Dakimakuras?
Logo needs refining, it won't scale down well.
Is the company actually gonna even use this video? It's terrible.
Is the company actually gonna even use this video? It's terrible.
Well, sorry to disappoint you, but the Celga president loved it and has been sharing it.
For an amateur video it's miles from some of the cringy stuff you see on like, local TV and such, it's honestly not so bad for the target demographic. The only thing that comes across as a bit below the rest of the video is the screen of what looks like a painted (mt fuji?) and figurines/controllers/etc. For the rest of the video you used a clean white background with a sharply contrased character, so it seems a bit out of place imo. Plus, you use pictures of the actual items sold in the store in the rest of the video so having hand drawn controllers and figurines doesn't seem necessary.
It seems too long to me. I understood the basic jist after about 30-50 seconds. In my opinion, there's too much filler. I would cut the first 50 seconds down to ~20 seconds and leave the second half where you actually get into the details. Overall, pleasant to listen to and informative. It seems like a good internet targeted add.
The logo being used to represent the company is terrible, the leader of the company should consider rebranding. The video is okay, It is kind of boring towards the end and the art definitely needs some more work.
Well, sorry to disappoint you, but the Celga president loved it and has been sharing it.
It needs some work man, I study marketing and I'm currently working in the industry. The video adequately explained what the service provided, albeit it was a bit long - so that aspect is fine. However, the main issue was the video presentation. The first mistake I noticed was the grey to white gradient background and stroked text. These look cheap and incredibly drab, and would usually belong in iMovie mom-and-pop store commercials. Even plain white broken up by some images would have been better. The illustrations also suffer from an inconsistent art style (0:14 is a good example of this). The logo is also rather early 2000s. The issue is that it won't scale down well for shipping labels, merchandising, etc. You need to ditch the font, gradient, and drop shadow, and create something more modern that encompasses the nature of the company's services (i.e. like the FedEx arrow). Here's an example of something simpler: [t]http://i.imgur.com/rvu8v1t.png[/t] I'm in no way claiming that this is a good logo, I spent about 30 seconds making it in paint - but do you see how something like this is neater and more memorable? I incorporated the Japanese flag in to the logo, again, not saying that this is great, but at least it expresses that aspect of the company. The screenshot of the website, containing what I assume to be the old logo, is not consistent with new the logo in the presentation. This makes the company look far less reputable. In short, the concept is fine, but the execution needs more polish.
its a solid 6-7/10(where 10 would be flawless execution advertisement created by a team of marketing/advertising people) the presentation gets the information across and it's fairly easy to understand, but like other people have said, it's a lot that could be said/shown in much less. the constant blue/grey color scheme is also kind of drab and doesn't scream "hip". the logo is also atrocious(though thats not your fault) however, i do understand the amount of effort that goes into making a good ad, and at least you got the basics. great work!
Another thing, Celga Inc sounds more like some evil biotechnology corporation rather than Anime R Us. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/fXlFR0B.png[/thumb]
Is the company actually gonna even use this video? It's terrible.
does it make you feel better when you're rude to others
Pretty good, very informative and explains the purpose of the site well. I don't mind the length, but if this was/is on TV, I would suggest to trim it down. Now the colors is limited, a lot of grey and white, which the others pointed out. Should try to use more variety throughout the video. The logo is okay but I feel like it could be better with more colors.
Celga's website doesn't scale properly. It looks like it was designed for 800x600 resolution. I think any ad like this would be interesting
