Has to be true because Daily Mail posted it.

Scientists and conspiracy theorists across the world have been left stunned after Nasa cameras picked up a mysterious blue sphere moving in front of the Sun.
Facebook user Pamela Jonhson, who lives in Mexico, shared the images from a link to Nasa's website, claiming the Sun reacted to the object.
The images, taken from Nasa's STEREO satellites which orbit the Sun, show the large spectacle in clear view - before it goes missing from other frames.

I smell bullshit
I smell dailymail
I can't see shit
ah yes, a blue orb, you can tell it's blue by looking at this photo of it passing in front of our blue sun, in foggy blue JPG space, as taken by a nikon coolpix taped to the front of the ISS with the ISO cranked to hell

Ah so that's where that mysterious distant "fuck off you annoying twat" came from when I was smoking in the porch.
I cant see it.
And even if i could, what if it was just like, a zoomed in Venus.
to me it look like a leprechaun to me
Compare that to the normal quality of images it produces

The only images I can find that are of that shite quality are either A) it facing away from the sun looking at other planets that are so far away they are just tiny dots or B) the images from this article.

Thats an image of mercury.

This dude explains it. It's just corrupted data.
I even spent about an hour yesterday trying to compare the photos of the blue sphere to the photos of the Sun during the time when it appeared.
I believe the image is simply rotated 90° to the right.
Also, people claim it to be a planet or a huge alien structure/spacecraft, but they don't seem to notice it is transparent and you can see stars shining behind it.

"Because the pictures from the Heliospheric Imager (HI) telescopes are built up from a large number of exposures added together, this sometimes results in 'double exposures,' where data from several telescopes appear in the same image."
Likely story
It was swamp gas reflected off a weather balloon.
