So this is there first try on From Whom The Bell Tolls, the learned it in 5 days. What do you think?
Not too bad, but guitar was pretty poor and PLEASE record directly from the amps next time. Moving around during a song = uneven sounds and i could barely hear some anything but the drums at times.

[editline]06:56PM[/editline] FWTBT was the first song we did with my first band too though. :)
I have to agree with Occlusion on this one, the guitar was pretty bad.
It's pretty good, your drummer is good.

Mine was only £20 and it has a lineout on the back. Well at any rate DONT MOVE THE CAMERA/MIC when recording next time please.
Is it just me, or do the drums sound piss-awful?

Well, maybe not most of them, but a lot of them anyway. Out of the three amps I've had, one of the solid states had an aux out which sucked more than recording with a microphone. And it wasn't some $30 piece of shit, Roland Ccubes have pretty good reputation.
Is it just me, or do the drums sound piss-awful?
I think it's because they're just acoustic and not amplified if you know what I mean. If you watch some live performances of bands you will see they have microphones all over the drum set.

I don't think that really makes a difference in a small space like this. At live performances the drums have mics is because you wouldn't be able to hear them well over the other instruments. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Guitar wasn't nearly as loud as it needed to be.
Yeah guitar could have been better.
