New Saw VI trailer takes sound from Texas Chainsaw Massacre? - General

In Texas Chainsaw Massacre, right in the beginning (the original), it begins with someone taking pictures of dead bodies dug up by an unknown person. The sound the camera makes in the beginning, the whine, has become a staple of TCM for 35 years. I was watching the TV today, and a Saw VI trailer came on, and right when the same noise came on, with me being such a horror movie fan, i immediately noticed. Did they steal it, or is it perhaps a tribute to TCM? Final Destination 1&2 were great.. 3 was okay, 4 was horrible.

Saw 1 was the sex, saw 2 was great, the rest were decent (but retarded, like fenwick said)

1974 TCM is by far the best of the series in my opinion and as for the saw series the 1st and 2nd were exciting now it's getting ridiculously bad.

How come when people make a bunch of movies people complain, yet there are TV series with hundreds of episodes, amounting to dozens of movies worth of content, but no one ever complains? If anything, Saw is a TV series, but isn't allowed to be shown on TV, due to how ridiculously gory it is. I have no problem with them releasing more Saw movies, they entertain me, and it furthers the story.

Everyone in this thread is dumb, that's not a copywritten sound or a tribute, it's the sound an old camera makes. Hence the flashing and photography.

They get that in the form of the Saw series, but then they complain the series isn't what it originally was which was just a suspenseful, albeit very little story ride. Fuckers just complain about everything.

It reminded me of 'Cube'; it made you think, not just watch. The new ones just throw a bunch of gore and shitty back story and surprises your way. Nothing original.
