Get ready for Scooby Doo, Jonny Quest, and The Flintstones as you’ve never seen them before. DC Comics has announced ambitious plans to give several classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons modernized updates for an older audience. That means Jonny Quest is going to the future, and it’s the end of the world for Scooby Doo!

Barney, my pebbles!
Wtf isn up with Shaggy's facial hair.
Shaggy, from stoner to hipster.
At least they aren't cartoons. I don't know much about comics, but this could probably turn out ok.
Already been done.

Why does Shaggy look like a Spanish conquistador
Man I've always wanted a modern day stoner/hippy Shaggy, but now he looks like my least favorite of the 4
I'm trying to figure out whats even going on in that Scooby thing. The Hanna-Barbera Action Heros really doesn't look bad. They're action heroes, and they look like they they're doing comic book hero stuff. It's really not out of place. Fred in the Flintstones thing though looks a bit more built and composed than he ever seemed in the show.

Also is that a Wacky Races and Mad Max Crossover?
I'm actually not opposed to that.
Damn that Shaggy design sure is... Different.
They've tried everything else with Scooby Doo and it hasn't really stuck, so why not. Of course if they were smart they'd be running it on the AS block with Jack, but they won't.
I think it's fair to say the only one that'll make it for three seasons is Future Quest, they can run it with JLA! and Go! in an action block without much fuss.

The Scooby Doo reboot is in the post apocalypse, and AFAIK they only are ripping off Mad Max, down to even having Fury Road's storyboard artist.
All hail Immortan Dastardly.
Oh my god Shaggy also has gauges
those posters look like fan art

I think they're comics, not animated series.

How in the hell does that look like a gritty reboot to you.
It's neither gritty nor a reboot. More of an elseworld story

I'm still not opposed to it. I am opposed to the Scooby thing though.

They're expecting them as tie-ins, AS is ramping up for more western action-y stuff, basically the ones that do well will be up for animating, where the real money is.
It's essentially a test bed for an action block.

Why is Velma a Loli?

Kind of answers itself, doesn't it.
Does Scooby have floating emojis over his monocle?
Does Scooby have floating emojis over his monocle?
I though that was actually the coolest concept in this picture
[editline]1st February 2016[/editline]
Man, I'm a pretty big fan of Jim Lee's art and what he did with Scooby is awesome. Fred and Velma don't look bad either.
I'm neutral about Daphne, her new look isn't super representative of her character but it's not completely uncharacteristic
But I do have an actual issue with Shaggy, and it's only because he's looking way too well groomed and put together.
Shaggy is supposed to be lazy, not really give a damn about his appearance and he CERTAINLY wouldn't take the time to style his beard, gel his hair, gauge his ears...

So now instead of talking, Scooby shows what he's saying/thinking in the form of floating emojis!

I think this is actually a really creative concept that stays true to the spirit of the show while helping give it that sci-fi feel
This is why I hate Hanna-Barbera. They're on another level compared to Fox and Nick on milking their cash cows dry.
Fuck this is the company that greenlit multiple rip-off Scooby Doo shows despite OWNING SCOOBY DOO.

HB's been dead for almost a decade now, what are you talking about?
