Some things about today's episode: -As always, it's completely unscripted. -Today's is a "second take" episode - my camera never focused properly the first time around and this can be seen immediately before the opening credits (which I left in). -The fez never falls off! Or even thinks about it! -I am not very well. So apologies if it's not as good this week.
Brilliant as usual :)

I think with the game music, it depends on the game. For example, Saints Row 3 made an amazing use of licensed music but also used some of its own soundtrack on occasion. I think that's the most successful way to do it, having both put together. However, games like Deus Ex Human Revolution (My favorite game), for example, I don't think would benefit at all from licensed music. Kind of hard to decide really on which is the superior. I also prefer the side boxes to have some nice art on them, that makes them a lot easier to pick out in my opinion since i normally can remember a game by its art. Good episode by the way, couldn't really tell you were unwell at all.

Bizarrely, SR3's original score includes songs that don't seem to have been acknowledged (the mission complete music may or may not all be taken from real songs). As for the side art, it tends to be an issue of neatness versus variety. The insane deviation can get a little jarring, particularly on PS3 where some game cases have the normal text on the sides, and others have the full logo for no reason.
I'm getting myself a fez pretty soon, I'm not sure if I should get the red with white tassel, or the maroon with black tassel.
hire a camerman and pay him in cookies

I would hope for the former personally. Can't wait for next weeks episode!
