So, I wanted some critique on these shots that I took at College yesterday and have been processing today.
The theme of the photographs were 'Colour and Texture' and I thought I'd come to Facepunch to get some.

All taken on a Canon DSLR, no flash,
Any comments/criticisms/anything?
The grunge is a bit too distracting imo.
My class is doing something similar right now, we have to make 3 collages with 6 photos each that all have the same main color, so I might post some of what I can get this week.
Thanks, I think I may tone it down a bit, and see what the results are like.
The grunge is actually made from the backing paper when painting, they had some real nice border effects.

Yea, the grunge is alright but be careful not to over do it. Good job.

I don't know if your finished with your project but bark has a really cool texture.

I don't think the grunge contributes too much, nor does it really fit with images of pristine fauna.
Just my two cents.
Thanks for all the varied responses, I'm glad I got some feedback, I know what I should/shouldn't do for next time.
