Holy crap, I wasn't expecting an engagement that close, most footage is just the guy firing off 100s of feet into the distance, when the shooting started I was just like "woahmygawd"
For a split second you can see the perpetrator firing out through the small holes at the retreating guy as he makes the corner.

From what I saw in the video it looked like a USMC\Afghan Police joint patrol, but it actually turned out to be Special Forces\Afghan Military joint operation.

Oh jesus, when I saw the sparks my heart skipped a beat. Heart goes out to that guy's family, because getting shot through holes in a house is a really shitty way to go.

Ouw.. Now after rewatching the video I realize more of what happened. When they start to come near the house you can see the two holes in the front part of the building that american with the cam on the head just had luck that he was the middle person and even more lucky when he went to the other room.
What also wonders me is how he could tell so fast that the other two were hostages or unarmed civilians? The guy in the white robe looked like he was aiming at him! So many videos where soliders shooting the wrong people but I am really happy to see training and practise beeing used right like in this video. One of the better soldiers I would say.
