I tried reading this article numerous times and it seems that Warner Bros. stated

Seeing how this article has a timestamp of Tuesday that would imply that today (Monday) is when they made this statement which confuses me. How do you sack a person after the show had been cancelled?

I was there during the live broadcast. It was one of the most funniest things I've ever seen.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks syphilis is the cause of his "winning". I mean, the man HAS slept around and he's currently dating/living with TWO women, one of whom is a PORN STAR. He HAS to be riddled with STDs right now.
