I like how in ancient times the American theme is "Hard Tack" or "Hard Times Come Again No More"

With all that's being shown, my only gripe is how tiny units are on tiles and some of the weird cartoon-ish graphics being too cartoony.
Everything else is shaping up to be really great
Oh wow, I just checked and noticed Civ 5 is only $8 on Steam right now. Pretty nice deal.
They nipped it in the bud with the leader art. Looks fantastic now. The only visual problem I have with the game is the font, everything else is gorgeous.

I have to wonder though, will those tunes become almost too distracting in peacetime? I can't quite imagine that modern french theme playing all through my turns...
There's really something about the Bluegrass tune they use for the Medieval music for the Americans. Like it's down right comforting and inviting.

Howling Fjord/Grizzly Hills were my favorite areas in WoW, I loved the music. I think the violin-y sections on this (First starting at 0:20) are on a Nyckelharpa

I wish they had Scotland as a nation with some bagpipe themed music, it gets a lot of rap for being quite sharp on the ears but its one of my favourite instruments, especially live. I wonder how they're gonna do the evolution of themes for civ's that died out, like Rome or Sumeria
Dynamic music as well as AI is something more devs should focus on instead of skin shaders that take half an hour to compile. Because once you look past the spiced-up screenshots the publishers release, the atmosphere you're aiming at can't be reached with graphics alone.

Maybe it'll be the same melody but played with either a lighter or darker tone depending on political atmosphere
I'm so glad that this isn't turning out like Beyond Earth. Looks like I'll be purchasing Civ 6.
Also, is it just me that think it's sort of weird that PC Gamer are making advertisements for this game when they will also be reviewing it? It might be common practice but that doesn't mean it's really desirable.

It's going to be so hard for them to live up the Civ V soundtrack. There were nations I'd go to war with just to hear their war theme
