Who wants to see Taliban get gunned down from 15 feet away? - General

Long boring video with lousy pay off. Basically our guys got a tip that these guys were setting up an Ambush and we rolled up on them all unsuspecting like, making them give themselves away early, and then fled on bikes while the Army chased. A couple guys crashed their bike and ran off on foot. 2 Humvees chased them, rolled right up to them and realized they had AKs, which one fired at the guy with the helmet cam, and then they mowed them down [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgMODs-tmhs[/media] Skip to 6:40 if you don't want to watch the boring chase. Probably really unsafe for the gunner to have his gun jammed. more like a watcher now.

Can anyone guess why his .50 cal jammed?

Who knows, probably never grabbed a round from the belt, if it had it would've fired at least once

At a guess the rounds weren't on the feed tray properly so the feed pawls weren't gripping the rounds, either that or there was a round stuck the chamber, which I very much doubt.

that is some scary shit having your gun jam so close to engagement with the enemy. That's some quick thinking the soldier did and thankfully it all was a positive end. Videos like these interest me so much because of how real it is out there fighting in war. Also reminds me of the need that our soldiers need to come back home :(

What kind of dumb fuck taliban doesn't surrender when a uparmoured humvee chase at you with a 50 cal? Those aren't the ones from 2003, they are the ones with bulletproof glass and blastdoors. And pretty damn brave to go off road.

Did the guy got shot by the cameraman or was it another soldier? Because he looks like he wasn't aiming at all.

I really like videos like this, where it's recorded in battle. It's horrible because people die and shit but it's some sort of awesome to see it from their perspective. Also I'm a gun nut so seeing weapons being maneuvered is just awesome.

Damn usually all the Funker military vids I see are mostly "hey we're shooting at distant targets that aren't even visible in the video!" which are ok, but this one - [B]damn! [/B]When he opened fire with the SAW I was holding my breath tight.

I was expecting some civilian murder as usual in these Murrica videos, but this time they did a great job. Left him time to put down the weapon, and he actually shot so they slaughtered his ass.

As in, ROE dictates that if they shoot at you first or are about to shoot at you, you light them up. We aren't slaughtering civilians left and right like a lot of people think due to those select few videos they have seen.

It's sad to see people succumb to these figures of authority and make them kill each other.
