Archaeologists on Monday unveiled what may have been the home of one of Jesus' childhood neighbors. The humble dwelling is the first dating to the era of Jesus to be discovered in Nazareth, then a hamlet of around 50 impoverished Jewish families where Jesus spent his boyhood.
Nazareth Sounds like a city out of a fantasy novel.
Then why has it been considered a country for thousands of years?
I can think of them pulling out a page. 'To my dear Carry, All characters within this book are fictitious, any simularity betweeen the events portayed in this book is coincidental.' I can imagine the church being very cross.
Jesus wasnt real, therefore naming an era after him sounds like a retarded thing to do.
Jesus wasnt real, therefore naming an era after him sounds like a retarded thing to do.
I thought it was pretty much known that he was a real person. Whether or not he was special, or just a nut case, is up to you.
I thought it was pretty much known that he was a real person. Jesus has no historical backing and the only documents of him were church controlled, he didnt exist.
Jesus christ that's a nice find
:golfclap: Well played, sir. Very well played
There was no mention of a man named Jesus in any of the Muslim documents from the Romans. Jesus has no historical backing and the only documents of him were church controlled, he didnt exist.
Sorry, he did exist, the koran was created 620 years later.

Also I'm sure there's a whole slew of documents proving his existence.
Sorry, he did exist, the koran was created 620 years later.
What does that have to do with anything?
Actually I'm pretty sure Islam mentions Jesus quite a few times calling him "son of mary" or whatever. The only historical documents mentioning a man named Jesus were in possession of the Church and we all know how controlling the church was, many of the documents have been proved to be forgeries. Jesus did not exist.

They saved years of scientific and political development when Rome fell, without the Muslims much of what we know today about Roman history would have been lost. The only forgeries done were by the Catholic Church, many of these forgeries revolve a certain historical figure, but Im sure you know who that must be.
Who cares if some preacher existed 2000 years ago or not, it's not like anything is going to change among the religious folks if that was found out. "Meh, let's burn the churches, time to score some ladies!" - The pope
Then why has it been considered a country for thousands of years?
First of all it isn't a country; it's a city. Second of all, current Israel has only existed since 1949.
So much has been lost in translation from a language no one knew, it is really impossible to find evidence for anything in the bible. I have a strong hate for all religion, preaching one mans wishes onto another with guilt trips and a retarded sence of superiourity, how if anything good happenes it was with the help of god. Just no. All I see is dumb people grabbing at awncers, it must be god doing all this shit! right guys, no other explination but the might of god now prey to him everyday! yay
Ugh, it was fucking made up. Those documents were made up because muslims see any other religion as "unholy" and tries to remove it by any mean's necessary.
You do realise that Muslims believe in Jesus and he has a whole chapter dedicated to him in the Quran, right?
You do realise that Muslims believe in Jesus and he has a whole chapter dedicated to him in the Quran, right?
This is because all of those Religions are of Abrahamic origin, they all branch from the same core religion. You'd be surprised what you can learn from History.
What about Azeroth?
That was right next to Nazareth. It sucked.
ITT people think they can say who did and didn't exist from 2000 years ago.
ITT people think they can say who did and didn't exist from 2000 years ago.
Im only using what history says, and history says he didnt exist. Science has challenged the bible and science wins, why should History be any different, THE BIBLE IS NOT A HISTORICAL DOCUMENT.
history says he didnt exist.
History might be very biased, the winners write the history.
History might be very biased, the winners write the history.
And the bible is not?
