You should definitely make the objects more noticeable instead of black with just some colorful lines.
I see what you were trying to do with the simple silhouettes with reflections but the reflections don't really look good, you should go back and redo the reflections. The light source isn't really defined either, your ship has white lighting outlining it while the platform further away has reflections of the red sky on it's left. The ship looks very flat, it needs reflections not only outlining it but in the center where small curves and corners and such would be. Shapes need a lot of work as well, use a smaller brush for the further things, I can see on some corners where your large brush went over the shape. Hope this helps.

Speedpainting is the last thing you should try doing, practice some more cause tbh the one you drew there looks rubbish to me =/ The only good thing is the fact that you don't care about all latest software with all latest gazillion features, if you like it then continue using it =)
