This is a fucking well made movie of the Nanjing Massacre. And this scene was just incredible!
Damn, that gave me goosebumps. Going to watch this movie now.
Screw you Tojo.
Is the whole movie black and white?
Actually love it when modern films decide to be black and white

Yes
I watched it a while back and thoroughly recommend it. Don't go into it thinking its going to be an action movie though. The trailer makes it sort of look like it is.

They wanted to be historically accurate.
great movie.. sad it's not that popular. It should be up there with Schindler's List.
It's a good film, definitely recommend it.
You're doing yourself a disservice if you watch this scene before watching the movie before it. The scene means so much less without the weight of all of Kadokawa's experiences from the rest of the movie hanging over it, and if you go and watch the movie now, I feel that it'd lose its impact now that you know it's coming. It's like being told the punchline of a joke before hearing the joke itself.
Where can I find this with subtitles? I don't speak Chinese :/
