Dyncorp contracts dealt principally with training and equipping the Afghan National Police and counternarcotics forces. Dyncorp contracts included police trainers, construction of police infrastructure, and fielding police equipment and vehicles. Dyncorp played a similar role, with similar results, in the Iraq Reconstruction.
This is just upsetting, I mean it makes The Manchurian Candidate (2004) look like not a completely crazy conspiracy movie. DynCorp is owned by Cerberus Capital Management, and pretty much owns most of the weapons manufacturing companies too.
DynCorp was also a large winner of contracts in early invasion Iraq. They sure rack in that government dough. Get to wait 5 years and see how their work shapes up to.
DynCorp sounds like the name of a corrupt mega-corporation of a dystopian future. "DynCorp, a global leader in robotics, bioengineering, software, military applications, and aerospace technology. We operate facilities on Mars, developing teleportation and anti-matter technology. DynCorp, a global leader for tomorrow!"
war economy.
war economy.
But has the war changed?

Don't they also suck? Because I've heard bad things about the ANP.
DynCorp sounds like the name of a corrupt mega-corporation of a dystopian future.
Well it is.
I feel like I have just stepped in Deus Ex the way I am reading this.
Probably contracted by the US government because they're cheapest by cutting corners everywhere.

Not very surprising, sadly.
Dyncorp does a lot. They gave my squadron maintenance support, as well as AEcom. They were very helpful. However, giving that many contracts to one company stifles competition.

However, giving that many contracts to one company stifles competition.
pretty much what's got space-x and musk upset right now, the senators and congressmen and other officials who award these contracts are all taking kick-backs in some form, be it promised jobs, campaign donations, or just straight up bribes. this keeps competitors out of the system. the pentagon's massive contract economy is one of the reasons why they have a hard time keeping track of where their budget goes, i mean this is exactly why eisenhower left office with the speech about being wary of the military industrial complex as it is a nessicary evil in modern society, those words still hold true today
keep in mind DynCorp was the same corporation who tried super hard to cover up the fact its aid contract workers in the Balkans who were meant to help the local population were instead raping the women and selling them into sex slavery
