The effect when you pick up armor is pretty lame. The rest looks great to me.

yeah, i played it for five minutes and uninstalled it. completely boring, guns do no damage at all.
Is very shit, also the beta came out like 2 days ago?

I don't like the fact that you can manually aim the guns without pressing the equivalent of R or whatever. It LOOKS like goldeneye, but doesn't play like it, so what is the point?

Goldeneye for the N64 had several different control schemes, one of which allowed you to aim using the joystick while using the C buttons to move.
The thing is, you don't have a crosshair when aiming like that.
