The suspect ran away from the scene but neighbors and police found him deceased several blocks away.
Paramedics rushed Officer Wilson to a hospital in Round Rock where he underwent surgery. He is in critical condition, suffering life-threatening injuries.

Believe it or not there's some cops who do their jobs, just like in any other profession or career.

If I read right it sounded like the man stole the officer's knife and used it on the officer, so he wasn't running when he stabbed the cop. He was in the middle of resisting arrest.

Then he said he hopes the man who stabbed him died. The article said they found the man dead. I didn't read his post wrong, someone could easily read the title of this thread and find out that not only did the cop get stabbed - but he shot his assaulter. So someone who didn't read the article to find out that the man was already dead could make the post
